The Astronomy of Ramadan

Tradition dictates that Ramadan, like other holy months in the Islamic calendar, begins the day after the thin crescent of the new moon is first seen with the naked eye. Because visibility is very dependent on local atmospheric conditions, religious officials in different countries—relying on eye-witness observations from volunteers—often disagree on the exact moment, sometimes by as much as 3 or 4 days. It’s a recipe for international confusion.

The translation of surah jinn

In the Name of Allah, The Most Gracious, Most Merciful
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
1.   Say (O Muhammad SAW):
"It has been revealed to me that a group (from three to ten in number) of jinns listened (to this Qur'ân).
They said:
'Verily! We have heard a wonderful Recital (this Qur'ân)!
2.   'It guides to the Right Path, and we have believed therein, and we shall never join (in worship) anything with our Lord (Allâh).
3.   'And exalted be the Majesty of our Lord,
He has taken neither a wife, nor a son (or offspring or children).
4.   'And that the foolish among us [i.e. Iblîs (Satan) or the polytheists amongst the jinns] used to utter against Allâh that which was wrong and not right.
5.   'And verily, we thought that men and jinns would not utter a lie against Allâh.
6.   'And verily, there were men among mankind who took shelter with the masculine among the jinns, but they (jinns) increased them (mankind) in sin and disbelief.
7.   'And they thought as you thought, that Allâh will not send any Messenger (to mankind or jinns).
8.   'And we have sought to reach the heaven; but found it filled with stern guards and flaming fires.
9.   'And verily, we used to sit there in stations, to (steal) a hearing, but any who listens now will find a flaming fire watching him in ambush.
10. 'And we know not whether evil is intended for those on earth,
or whether their Lord intends for them a Right Path.
11. 'There are among us some that are righteous, and some the contrary;
we are groups each having a different way (religious sect, etc.).
12. 'And we think that we cannot escape (from the punishment of) Allâh in the earth,
nor can we escape (from the punishment) by flight.
13. 'And indeed when we heard the Guidance (this Qur'ân), we believed therein (Islâmic Monotheism),
and whosoever believes in his Lord shall have no fear, either of a decrease in the reward of his good deeds or an increase in punishment for his sins.
14. 'And of us some are Muslims (who have submitted to Allâh, after listening to this Qur'ân),
and of us some are Al-Qâsitûn (disbelievers those who have deviated from the Right Path)'.
And whosoever has embraced Islâm (i.e. has become a Muslim by submitting to Allâh), then such have sought the Right Path."
15. And as for the Qâsitûn (disbelievers who deviated from the Right Path), they shall be firewood for Hell,

16. If they (non-Muslims) had believed in Allâh, and went on the Right Way (i.e. Islâm) We should surely have bestowed on them water (rain) in abundance.
17. That We might try them thereby.
And whosoever turns away from the Reminder of his Lord (i.e. this Qur'ân, and practice not its laws and orders), He will cause him to enter in a severe torment (i.e. Hell).
18. And the mosques are for Allâh (Alone), so invoke not anyone along with Allâh.
19. (It has been revealed to me that) When the slave of Allâh (Muhammad SAW) stood up invoking (his Lord Allâh) in prayer to Him they (the jinns) just made round him a dense crowd as if sticking one over the other (in order to listen to the Prophet's recitation).

20. Say (O Muhammad SAW):
"I invoke only my Lord (Allâh Alone), and I associate none as partners along with Him."
21. Say:
"It is not in my power to cause you harm, or to bring you to the Right Path."
22. Say (O Muhammad SAW):
"None can protect me from Allâh's punishment (if I were to disobey Him), nor should I find refuge except in Him.
23. "(Mine is) but conveyance (of the truth) from Allâh and His Messages (of Islâmic Monotheism),
and whosoever disobeys Allâh and His Messenger, then verily, for him is the Fire of Hell, he shall dwell therein forever ."
24. Till, when they see that which they are promised, then they will know who it is that is weaker concerning helpers and less important concerning numbers.

25. Say (O Muhammad SAW):
"I know not whether (the punishment) which you are promised is near or whether my Lord will appoint for it a distant term.
26. "(He Alone) the All-Knower of the Ghâ'ib (unseen),
and He reveals to none His Ghâ'ib (unseen)."
27. Except to a Messenger (from mankind) whom He has chosen (He informs him of unseen as much as He likes), and then He makes a band of watching guards (angels) to march before him and behind him.
28. [He (Allâh) protects them (the Messengers)], till He sees that they (the Messengers) have conveyed the Messages of their Lord (Allâh).
And He (Allâh) surrounds all that which is with them, and He (Allâh) keeps count of all things (i.e. He knows the exact number of everything).

OUR GOD BLESSINGS

حضرت ابو موسی اشعری (رضی اللہ تعالی عنہ) رسول اللہ (صلی اللہ علیہ والہ وسلم) سے روایت فرماتے ہیں کہ
آپ نے فرمایا;
اللہ تعالی شعبان کی پندرہویں رات نظر رحمت فرما کر تمام مخلوق کی مغفرت فرما دیتے ہیں
سواۓ مشرک اور کینہ ور کے.

PESHAWAR – The news of al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden’s death in Abbottabad had Afghan refugees cheering.

“We are jubilant over the news that … Osama Bin Laden has been killed, because he was solely responsible for the destruction of Afghanistan,” said Mirza Khan, 45, an Afghan living in Peshawar for the past 20 years.

“We had a very good house and business in Kabul,” he said, cursing al-Qaeda and Taliban for the woes of millions of Afghans.

Pakistan has hosted as many as 5m Afghans during their homeland’s years of war. About 3m of them have since returned, but 2m remain in Pakistan for fear of insecurity back home.

Bin Laden, once revered in the Islamic world, had lost his popularity as his followers attacked schools, mosques and funerals, killing thousands of innocent people, including women and children. Those who hated him were numerous and eager to speak out.

“This morning I woke up to very sudden news about the killing of Osama. We never expected that this man (Osama) would ever die,” said Zalmay Janan, a grade-9 student at Mirwais Public School for Afghans on Nasir Bagh Road Peshawar. He appeared hopeful that Osama’s death would speed the end of the insurgency in war-battered Afghanistan.

“I hate Osama because he created a force that opposed female education. He was not the leader of the Muslims but he led terrorists instead,” said Gul Makai, who teaches English at Aryana School in Tehkal locality in Peshawar. She handed out sweets to students to celebrate this morning, she said.

She knows at least 200 children who live in Pakistan solely so they can study, she said.

Irfan Javid, 20, said he was living alone in Peshawar to complete his education. “My parents live in Kunar Province of Afghanistan, where the Taliban have vast influence and hence the schools cannot function properly,” he said. “My parents come every month to meet with me and give me money for my expenses here.”

In the Board Market in Peshawar, which is called “mini-Kabul,” shopkeepers exchanged pleasantries and congratulated each other on what they called a great success.
“We are providing child labour to the automobile workshops, hotels and other small outlets in Pakistan,” rickshaw driver Noor Wali said. “Thousands of Afghan children have been working for a paltry amount under Pakistanis. It is all because of a man called Bin Laden.” A former resident of Paktika Province, he said he fled to Pakistan after a suicide attack killed his parents three years ago.

“Had Bin Laden not arrived in Kabul, my parents would have been alive and I would have been in college now,” Wali, 21, said.

Bin Laden’s death will do much to establish peace in Afghanistan and Pakistan, prominent Afghan doctor Alif Gul told Central Asia Online. “The different jihadist groups for which Osama was the cement will fall apart like a house of cards now,” he predicted.

By and large, Osama was the architect of terrorism in Pakistan and Afghanistan, he said. Almighty Allah has answered the prayers of millions of peace-loving Muslims in the form of Bin Laden’s death, he said.

Pakistan Airblue crash report completed

ISLAMABAD – The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) said July 28 it had completed its investigation of the July 2010 Airblue crash and had presented the report to the federal government, media reported.

Authorities will release the report to the public once they receive comments from the French, German and US aviation safety agencies, since those countries were involved in design and manufacture of the plane and its engine, the CAA said.

An expert team headed by the Presidential Safety Investigation Board investigated the crash outside Islamabad, which killed all 152 people aboard.

The Pakistani intelligence has warned HT was plotting uprising

ISLAMABAD – Pakistani intelligence agencies warned in April that the outlawed organisation Hizb ut-Tahrir (HT) was plotting an uprising in Pakistan with the support of sympathisers within the armed forces,

Intelligence issued a clear warning that the HT was attempting a “deep infiltration” of the military and academia, media reported.

The Criminal Investigation Department of the police called for taking “appropriate” steps to control the group, which seeks to establish its version of a caliphate in Pakistan.

tips for womens,

womens can drive better then man.

China is greater miltary power said Mike Mullen

China today is a different country than it was 10 years ago,”Admiral Mike Mullen on Sunday as he began his four-day farewell visit to Beijing. “It is no longer a rising power. It has, in fact, arrived as a world power.”
The chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, like many American officials before him, was flattering his Chinese hosts so that they would think they have a stake in maintaining the current international system. It was no surprise, therefore, that Mullen also his audience at Renmin University that China’s “greater military power” meant that China also had “greater responsibility.”
The remarks of the outgoing admiral echoed those of Robert Zoellick, when he was deputy secretary of state during the previous administration, that the United States saw China as a “responsible stakeholder” in the international community. In 2005, as in 2011, there is an almost-desperate need in Washington to believe that American officials, through hortatory words, can persuade authoritarian Chinese leaders to accept a liberal international system they had no hand in creating.
Washington’s rhetoric, unfortunately, feeds China’s sense of self-importance, making Beijing only harder to deal with. Admiral Mullen has obviously failed to learn anything from the successive failures of the Obama administration’s China policies.
The president, from his first days in office, hoped to establish cooperative relations with Beijing. In February 2009, for instance, Secretary of State Clinton famously said human rights were not central to American relations with China and she could not let them interfere with more important matters.
Clinton obviously thought Chinese leaders would reciprocate her friendly gesture, but she was wrong. They were, according to one Beijing-based analyst, “ecstatic” because her comment confirmed in their minds that America “had finally succumbed to a full kowtow” to China.
The failure to understand China soon had consequences. In the following month, Chinese military planes and naval and civilian craft interfered with the Impeccable and the Victorious, two unarmed US Navy reconnaissance vessels, in international waters in the South China and Yellow Seas.
To avoid unpleasantness, Washington in April sent its top naval officer and a destroyer to participate in celebrations marking the 60th anniversary of the founding of the Chinese navy. That show of friendship also proved to be a mistake. In May, the Chinese again harassed the Victorious.
The administration did not learn from its early mistakes. In November 2009, days before President Obama’s trip to Beijing, Jeffrey Bader publicly said the United States could not solve any of the world’s great problems without China’s cooperation.
Bader, then the top Asia hand on the National Security Council, essentially gave Beijing a veto over American policy, and the Chinese immediately took advantage of the new president. Obama’s trip to China, during which he bowed to even low-ranking officials, turned out to be a disaster, marking the beginning of a period of Chinese belligerence that continues to this day.
Which is why the outgoing Mullen is pleading with the Chinese to be nice. When Beijing’s flag officers and senior colonels publicly talk about waging war on the United States—as they last February—the proper response is not to tell China’s officials how powerful they are. The proper response is to tell them in public that they must adhere to accepted standards of conduct—or face consequences.
Unfortunately, there is no other way to deal with belligerent regimes.

Marriage face New financial, tax planning challenges

Special) – It’s summer, and flowers and the wedding business are in full bloom.
Weddings are a big business. The wedding industry in Canada is estimated at about $4 billion. Some 150,000 wedding ceremonies are conducted each year in the country, about 45 per cent of them in the summer months of June, July and August.
Getting married is an exciting step in life, but it does create some new financial and tax planning challenges.
Money is one of the biggest concerns that life partners have, and the issue can start even before the big day.
According to Investors Group, the average cost of a wedding today is between $20,000 and $30,000.
“Planning your nuptials increasingly requires the same foresight and prudence as saving for post-secondary education or the purchase of a new home,” says Christine Van Cauwenberghe, director of tax and estate planning with Investors Group. “As the wedding date draws nearer, couples planning for their big day will need to answer some questions: what are my financing options, what does a realistic savings plan look like and what types of investments are appropriate for the plan?”
It’s important that couples discuss and establish a realistic household budget based on income and determine who much they want to spend on the wedding, mortgage, future savings and other bills.
It’s also important to understand marital assets.
Generally, all assets acquired during a marriage are shareable between both spouses while the assets that each spouse brings into a marriage are not. However, there are some notable exceptions depending on the jurisdiction in which you live. “It’s often difficult to approach the topic of pre-nuptial agreements or marriage contracts, but having this established can make both parties more comfortable and lead to a happier marriage,” Van Cauwenberghe says.
Weddings often can result in a financial nest-egg for the couple, and one of their first joint decisions might be what to do with it – pay off student debt or a loan to finance the wedding, use it toward a down payment for a home, or put it into a Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) or a Tax Free Savings Account.
Getting hitched also has some tax implications.
Unlike the United States where couples can choose to file a joint tax return, in Canada each spouse must file their own return.
Even though couples file separate returns, it’s often be a good idea to prepare them together so they can take advantage of age, pension income, disability, and tuition and text book credits. If one partner can’t use the credits, they may be able to transfer their unused portion to the other partner to reduce his or her tax.
By preparing returns together, couples will be able to determine whether they can split their income and whether they can claim some benefits such as the GST/HST credit, the Child Tax Benefit, of the Guaranteed Income Supplement, which are based on the family’s total income.
In all provinces except Quebec, if you had a will before getting married it becomes null and void when you tie the knot unless it was specifically drafted in contemplation of the marriage.
It’s also important to know that beneficiary designations are not impacted by a marriage. So if you want your new spouse to receive insurance policies or RRSPs directly then you must change the beneficiary designations for them.
“You and your spouse need to work together to accomplish your financial goals,” Van Cauwenberghe suggests. “Given the complexities involved, it is imperative that you seek professional advice to ensure that your estate plan and financial plan are in order. Candid discussion and thoughtful planning in advance of your wedding will help ensure that you start married life off on the right financial foot.”

Festival of San Fermin In Pamplona

Like schoolchildren on a field trip, my friends and I excitedly sang this song on a bus from León to Pamplona in 2005. All I knew about the festival of San Fermín was that it involved people running with bulls, and that it took place every year from July 7 to July 14.
Here are some tips:
Dance, dance, dance. Pamplona turns into one big 24-hour-a-day party for the festival of San Fermín. Everyone's dressed in white clothes with red bandanas, and everyone is there to have a good time. There is live music everywhere, so it's a great opportunity to groove to the most popular Spanish hits. I remember dancing to Melendi's "Caminando por la Vida" around 3 a.m. at one of the outdoor concerts.
Don't expect to sleep (much). If you're making last-minute plans to go to Pamplona, don't be surprised if you can't find a bed. My friends and I didn't even try. It seems like everyone sleeps outside in public places, or doesn't sleep at all. In fact, Pamplona is the only place where I've ever slept in a public park. I brought a foldable sleeping bag in my backpack -- handy, since northern Spanish nights can get cold -- but most people just lay on the grass, huddled together to stay warm. If you go this route, hang on tightly to your belongings. I used my purse as a pillow, but at least one person from my group had his backpack swiped while he was asleep.
Running is risky. Every year, there are serious injuries or even deaths among people who try to run with the bulls. In 2010, I ; his brother got hurt in the left buttock. In fact, between 200 and 300 people are injured annually, according to the  Proceed with extreme caution if you are planning on getting near the toros. There are so many people trying to watch and run that you might not know a bull is near you until its horn scrapes your arm.
Check out the bullfighting ring. There are so many people stretching their necks to see over the fences that line the streets of Pamplona -- not to mention sitting on the fences, too -- that it's actually hard to see people and bulls running. "No vamos a ver nada" (We're not going to see anything), my friend M. lamented. We decided to go instead to the Plaza de Toros. With everyone pushing and shoving each other to get tickets to this event, it seemed almost as dangerous as chasing bulls in the streets. But we finally got our passes and made our way inside the enormous arena, which is the ending point of the bull run. There, we watched hundreds of people run around the bulls, including one member of our group who emerged proudly with a large cut or two.
Don't wander off. One of the girls in my group didn't show up at the agreed-upon time that morning. A half an hour went by, and she still hadn't shown up. We all started worrying, and had no idea how we would ever find her in a sea of thousands of people, since she didn't have a cell phone. Finally, she appeared two hours later -- she apparently made some new friends the night before and lost track of time. Don't do this to your traveling companions!
Check out San Sebastián afterward. If you're looking for a place to chill out after a crazy night in Pamplona, head about 51 miles northwest to San Sebastián, a beautiful small city on the Bay of Biscay where you can lie on the beach, admire medieval architecture and actually sit down for a yummy Basque meal.
Those are my top tips for visiting Pamplona. How about you? Share your tips for San Fermín with us below, and if you have photos and videos,

The Violence on the rise in Pakistan after the death of usama Bin Laden

“The situation in Pakistan, throughout Pakistan since Osama bin Laden’s death, has seen an intensification of fighting and an intensification of violence,” said Pascal Cuttat, the International Committee of the Red Cross’s head in Pakistan.
“Not the least also because violence is increasingly reaching the big towns — Peshawar and Karachi both have seen sharp increase of violence,” he said.
“For the immediate future, we expect more of what we see now,” added Cuttat.
The killing of bin Laden has also generated greater suspicions against foreigners, who are now finding it harder to work in the country.
“It has made the work considerably more difficult,” said Cuttat, pointing to increased bureaucracy for permits to work in Pakistan.
“There is throughout Pakistan today considerably higher suspicion with regards to any foreigner working in the country,” he added.
Bin Laden was killed on May during an US commando raid in Pakistan’s northern garrison town of Abbottabad.
Pakistan’s lawmakers have criticised the unilateral US action, and demanded that the operation not be repeated.

US exercises criticises by the Top Leadership of China

BEIJING: China's top military officer said Monday the timing of US naval exercises in the South China Sea was "inappropriate," after talks with his US counterpart aimed at cooling the territorial dispute.

General Chen Bingde urged the US to be "more modest and prudent in words and deeds", amid growing tensions over China's claims in the strategic and potentially resource-rich region, and also criticised Washington over its military spending.

He accused the US of "placing too much pressure on taxpayers" in the wake of the economic crisis, in unusually provocative remarks before a foreign visitor.

"On various occasions, the US side has expressed that it does not have the intention to intervene in the disputes in the South China Sea," Chen told reporters after meeting Admiral Mike Mullen in Beijing.

"However, we are observing the latest joint exercises between the US and other countries, for example the Philippines and Vietnam.

"We acknowledge that those exercises were there in the past, however the timing of these joint exercises is inappropriate as we see it."

The Philippines recently finished 11 days of naval exercises with the United States close to the South China Sea, although both sides emphasised the event was held annually and aimed at deepening defence ties.

Vietnam and the United States are to hold joint naval activities this month, with the US Navy again saying they are long-planned and unconnected to recent tensions.

Mullen is the first chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff to visit China since 2007 and his trip comes as military ties between the two powers are tested by Beijing's growing assertiveness in the South China Sea.

In a joint press conference, Chen said the pair had "found a lot of common ground", but that there were still "different opinions on certain issues," and accused the United States of spending too much on its military.

"It would be a better thing if the US didn't spend so much money on the military, while a little bit more in other areas, so as to play a constructive role in peace and stability," he said.

"I know the US is still recovering from the financial crisis, it still has some difficulties in its economy... Isn't it placing too much pressure on taxpayers?"

China, the Philippines, Vietnam, Brunei, Malaysia and Taiwan have overlapping claims to parts of the South China Sea, which is believed to have vast oil and gas deposits, while its shipping lanes are vital for global trade.

Vietnam and the Philippines have in recent months accused China of taking increasingly aggressive actions in staking its claims.

In May, Vietnam said Chinese marine surveillance vessels cut the exploration cables of an oil survey ship inside Hanoi's exclusive economic zone.

And Philippine President Benigno Aquino has accused China of inciting at least seven recent incidents, including one in which a Chinese vessel allegedly opened fire on Filipino fishermen.

In response, China has insisted it wants to resolve disputes peacefully but remains firm in its claims to most of the South China Sea, even waters within the Philippines' economic exclusion zone.

Speaking to reporters after arriving in Beijing on Sunday, Mullen said Washington was concerned about freedom of navigation, but expressed hope that the myriad disputes would be "resolved peacefully".

With ties sometimes fraught between the two militaries, he stressed that the US was in no way seeking to contain China's dramatic rise, but said it would remain active in the Asia Pacific region for a long time.

Mullen is also expected to address rising tensions with North Korea and measures to boost security cooperation between China and the United States during his four-day trip.

On Sunday, he urged the Chinese government to use its relationship with Pyongyang to ensure regional stability, while warning North Korea against further dangerous provocations.

He also held talks Monday with China's vice president Xi Jinping, who is widely expected to take over as president next year, and will visit military bases in the eastern provinces of Shandong and Jiangsu on Tuesday.

Akhal-Teke racehorse day in Turkmenistan

ASHGABAT – Turkmenistan will mark Racehorse Day April 22-24 to honour the Akhal-Teke, a horse considered a national symbol.

Turkmens have celebrated Racehorse Day on the last Sunday of April dating back to the rule of their first president, Sapamurat Niyazov, in the 1990s.

“Akhal-Tekes have been the pride of Turkmens since ancient times,” said Avez Gulmykdyev, a history teacher at Ashgabat High School No. 19. “Their name tells you where they were bred – the Akhal oasis – and who bred them – the Teke tribe. For the nomadic Turkmens, the horse was a faithful friend, a saviour and a fighting comrade.”

The Turkmen state coat of arms bears the image of Yanardag, an Akhal-Teke that won first place at a Moscow horse show in 1999. Turkmen President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov devoted a book to the horse.

As part of the celebration, Ashgabat will host an international conference on “The Turkmen horse and the art of international horse breeding” and a conference of the International Association for Akhal-Teke Breeding (IAATB), according to Turkmen state TV.

Attendees will include IAATB members and Akhal-Teke breeders, scholars and devotees from around the world according to the newspaper Neitralnyi Turkmenistan. New hippodromes are scheduled to open in all five provinces and a horse show will also be held.

The delegates will discuss modern selective breeding methods , international co-operation and efforts to increase the number of pure-bred horses, said a breeder from Akhal Province.

“It’s easy to distinguish Akhal-Tekes from other breeds by their short hair, muscular rump, big chest, height and grace,” the breeder said. “I’ve never bred another racehorse with those qualities. They love attention and tenderness, they’re very smart animals, and Turkmens have a right to be proud of them.”

The breeder said his entire clan breeds Akhal-Teke.

“Much attention was paid to selective breeding of the so-called heavenly horses in Soviet times, when steeplechases and races were held throughout the entire USSR,” the breeder said. “You have to admit, no matter how much we cursed Soviet rule, in those days the government paid more attention to horse breeding and selective breeding.”

The problem is not the government but rather the younger generation’s disdain for agriculture and animal husbandry, said Rashid Baimuratov, a professor at the State Agricultural University of Turkmenistan in Ashgabat.

“Today’s youth are choosing political science or foreign languages but never agriculture,” he said. “They’re not interested. (It’s a shame) since a love of racehorses is in our genes.”

“As a Turkmen citizen, of course I’m proud of Akhal-Tekes, but I don’t much like all the pomposity around Racehorse Day,” said Aslan, a student from Ashgabat.
Racehorse Day is just an excuse to waste money, he said.

However, Gulmykdyev said the holiday had great meaning for many Turkmens.

“The image of the Akhal-Teke is with us dating back to children’s fairy tales and to ancient history,” he said. “For every Turkmen it’s no trivial day.”

“I’m proud that my motherland celebrates Racehorse Day,” said Serdar Berdyev, a 4th-year student at Moscow Humanitarian University. “When I watch a documentary about the victory parade in Moscow in May 1945, my eyes fill with tears of pride and happiness. After all, you see Marshal Zhukov on a galloping horse of the famous Akhal-Teke breed. The whole world knows our beautiful horses.”

Top Jennifer Lopez Finally Says"Yes" To Another Season of American Idol?

jennifer lopaz is coming back to American Idol.
A little over a week ago,it was annouced  that  steven taler and Randy jakson had signed deals for more time at the judges' table. Now, I'm being told…
Lopez has also agreed to return. A source tells me exclusively an announcement could be coming any day now.
