Pakistan Airblue crash report completed

ISLAMABAD – The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) said July 28 it had completed its investigation of the July 2010 Airblue crash and had presented the report to the federal government, media reported.

Authorities will release the report to the public once they receive comments from the French, German and US aviation safety agencies, since those countries were involved in design and manufacture of the plane and its engine, the CAA said.

An expert team headed by the Presidential Safety Investigation Board investigated the crash outside Islamabad, which killed all 152 people aboard.
